There are always artists who, in one way or another, end up influencing not only your musical tastes, but also the sound of your productions.

For more than 10 years, I have had a great friendship with the pianist and composer Chad Lawson, possibly one of the best pianists I have ever met; he is an amazing guy. Chad is one of those musicians that is necessary to enjoy at a live concert. His touch and technique are from another world.

His music led me to discover other great musicians and in that he has helped a lot with Spotify’s algorithms. I listened to Lawson’s piano so much that Spotify started recommending the music by Ólafur Arnalds, Nils Frahm, Max Richter, Dustin O’Halloran… Since then, I started to collect new favourites.
